The House of Yahweh Sabbath Review – 7/19/2014

A Recap of Sabbath Services at the Great House of Yahweh…

Quoting a young future priest, “Yahweh doesn’t leave us guessing on how to take care of our bodies.” At The House of Yahweh, with the teachings of Yisrayl Hawkins, we freely learn how to achieve health, peace, joy, and abundant living through the Great Laws of Yahweh.

Stressing the importance of these Laws was central to the messages we heard from both Deacons Melchizedek and Yisrayl Abel. The Scriptures plainly state that eternal life comes only to those who keep and uphold Yahweh’s Laws. We see a world that is breaking these Laws at every turn and these young Future Priests brought that to everyone’s attention. Legalizing marijuana for recreational use, discarding the laws of salting our foods and beverages, are two examples of a lack of true love throughout the world today.

Great Kohan Yahshua gave a very informative sermon on how we can help ourselves to overcome negative type behaviors. He began by reading an example of obedience (Yeremyah 35:1-19) from The Book of Yahweh, The Holy Scriptures. These men provide a case in point of abstaining from alcohol for a specified purpose. The Kohan stresses the importance of our obedience to similar instructions today. Why? So, Yahweh can trust us to keep His Laws.

Alcohol and lustful behaviors can affect not only the goals we need to set for ourselves but may affect our ability to distinguish between the clean and the unclean, the holy and the profane. Studies show negative behaviors affect the frontal lobe of the brain but the Kohan explains there are methods to deal with the problem beyond just telling a person to stop. The phrase, “neurons that fire together, wire together” begins to explain positive, achievable results with proper actions.

The actions-to-do list …

  •  Use the S.T.O.P. acronym
  • Re-direct your thoughts
  • Do something creative
  • Avoid external triggers – entertainment is a trap
  • Recognize internal triggers such as boredom, loneliness and call your counselor
  • Engage new habits
  • Participate in Yahweh’s Work
  • Destroy thoughts of fantasy by mentally x-through it – flush it away

The news report came next, with Great Kohan Yliyah. Topics this week included the severe California draught, Monsanto wheat problems, the latest BRICS banking deal between Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, the downing of MH17 over a known war zone, and the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Our Pastor and Overseer, the Great Yisrayl Hawkins began by stating that The House of Yahweh is bringing forth the remnant that will stop all wars. This Kingdom will rule the entire universe but not by force and unity is a must-have requirement.

Like Yahshua, we are heirs to the promise and our children will shine as stars. Pastor takes a moment to remind us to promote, push, and applaud their efforts, never discouraging them in any way because they are bringing forth the Words of Yahweh.

Speaking of Yahshua the High Priest, Pastor tells us that He was tempted on all points yet never sinned, proving that we can follow His steps. Encouraging words on gene-replacement, we can change our genes through obedience to Yahweh’s Law. It is a choice: 1) put sin behind or 2) look at it and indulge in it for just a while. Citing Abel and Cain as examples of one who chose to put sin out of his life while the other brought forth the ways of war and lust.

Pastor adds more to the history of the twelve tribes and the descendants of Korah. He explains that Yahweh did not permit the rebellious to take over completely because of His Plan – a Plan of perfecting genes into His People. Yahweh’s People will have proven their obedience and have the power to resurrect the dead.

Psalm 19 confirms that practicing Yahweh’s Laws will convert the whole person and Pastor says what we are learning now – the Laws of Yahweh and the Peaceful Solution – is our strength. Once we prove our obedience, Yahweh knows we will never choose to willfully sin again.

We conclude the review on this note; the children of Abraham are those who do the works of Abraham (Genesis 26:5).
